Neither living organisms nor the Universe itself is perfectly symmetrical. As humans we ofte tend to focus on creating somewhat symmetrical objects and forms. From my personal perspective, working in gentle harmony with nature is accepting the randomity and chaotic nature of my immediate environment – rocks, dirt, clay, sticks and stones.
Mixed techniques – wheel and hand build using stone tools.
Glaze made with Mojave desert chalk ground by hand using my molcajete (stone grinder). Chalk is mixed with local water, mugwort beer vinegar and xantham gum to make it easier to apply with a brush.
Mountain dirt mixed with commercial clay.
Fired at Cone 6 - 2200°F (1200°C) in my electric kiln.

Shipping Information: I use USPS Priority mail for shipping within the US and USPS Priority International mail for international customers. Packages go out three to seven business days from the day of purchase.
Priority mail takes two to five days to deliver in the US. International orders may take much longer to arrive.
