Medium Black Bowls

I use these kinds of bowls all the time, they’re perfect for condiments, wild greens tasting, soups or even snacks. At my last class, I used them to serve acorn hummus and wild crackers. 
 
Homemade transparent glaze inside and outside. 
 
Wild clay from Southern California (Valyermo). The collected clay is reduced into powder using my stone grinder (Molcajete) then water is added to reach the right consistency and make the clay workable.
 
Hand build – Pinch method
 
Fired 3 times at cone 03 (2014 °F – 1100 °C) using my electric kiln.
