Mugwort Beer Mug

Medium sized mug, used for my wild brews.  
 
Made from a mix of local clay and clay mined in Southern California. 
 
Glazes made from rocks collected in the mountains and white “chalk” foraged in the Mojave desert. The rocks are slowly broken and ground by hand into a fine powder then mixed with various amounts of pinyon pine and scrub oak ashes to create different hues. The whole process is quite lengthy and several firings are often required. 
 
Made on a wheel 
 
Fired at cone 6 (2200 °F – 1204 °C) using my electric kiln.

Priority mail takes two to five days to deliver in the US. International orders may take much longer to arrive.
