Rustic Pouring Set

 
This Rustic Pouring Set includes a tall, organically shaped vessel and two small matching cups, all crafted with local clays and glazes. The vessel has an irregular rim and rugged body with a subtle white glaze that highlights the natural clay. Its uneven form makes each pour feel connected to the earth, perfect for serving dark, rich beverages like wild wines or teas. The small cups complement the vessel, capturing the same earthy texture and raw, desert-inspired aesthetic. Leak-tested. The textured surface requires extra care when hand-cleaning.
 
Created using a mix of local clay and clay mined in Southern California.
 
Glaze made from pine and oak ashes and white “chalk” foraged in the Mojave desert near Valyermo, California. 
 
Wheel and stone tools.
 
Fired at cone 6 (2200 °F – 1204 °C) using my electric kiln.
