Lone Drinker — Pouring Vessel and Cup
I live by myself, so I use a similar set at home. It has served many drinks over time — from wild wines to simple non-alcoholic infusions made with foraged herbs.
The vessels have a raw, textured surface that lets the natural clay and ash glaze remain visible and tactile.
Made with a mix of clay and desert soil.
Glaze made from pine and oak ashes and white “chalk” foraged in the Mojave Desert near Valyermo, California. Waterproof and tested for leaks.
Handbuilt using stone tools. Fired at cone 6 (2200 °F – 1204 °C) using my electric kiln.
