Medium size bowl – You can use it to hold berries but it’s also great for many uses such as soups, salads, side dishes, rice and the like.
Usually, I use 3 different stones to make my glazes but this time I skipped two of them and only kept the white one. I talked to a local geologist and it’s basically a type of chalk from a source I found in the desert. It melts beautifully at high temperatures.
The chalk is ground by hand using my stone grinder (Molcajete), mixed with pinyon pine ashes then applied to the cup with a brush on the outside. Homemade white glaze inside.
Made with a mix of mountain dirt and commercial clay.

Fired at cone 6 (2200 °F – 1204 °C) using my electric kiln.
