Open fermentation vessel

SKU: SKU028
$190.00Price

It's a medium sized fermentation vessel I use to make some of my ancestral brews using wild yeast and local plants. I cover it with a cloth so that flies and other critters cannot get it and stir the content 3-4 times a day. After a week, you end up with a boozy concoction of around 4-5% alcohol.

Made with a mix of wild clay and clay mined in Southern California. Glaze made from local rocks and desert "chalk" for the bubbly whitish glaze on top.

Hand build - Pinch and coil methods.

Diameter: 5.5 Inches (13.5 cm)
Height: 4 Inches (10 cm)

Weight: 1 pound 10 ounces (744 gr)
