Small Cup

This small asymetric cup embodies the rugged essence of California's Mojave Desert, crafted with local clay to capture the spirit of the landscape. Its textured surface is coated with a purposely uneven white glaze, enhancing its organic appearance. The natural imperfections and earthy tones make it a reflection of the desert’s raw beauty, grounding it in its local origins. Perfect for a small cup of pine needles tea.

Glaze made with Mojave desert chalk ground by hand using my molcajete (stone grinder).

Clay is a mix of mountain dirt (Valyermo) and commercial clay.

Fired at Cone 6 - 2200°F (1200°C) in my electric kiln.

Shipping Information: I use USPS Priority mail for shipping within the US and USPS Priority International mail for international customers. Packages go out three to seven business days from the day of purchase.
 
Priority mail takes two to five days to deliver in the US. International orders may take much longer to arrive.
