Wild Wine Cup 002

I always keep a natural wine alive.

It ferments quietly with plants and berries gathered from the local mountains, guided only by wild yeast from this place. I call it a continuous wine — never finished, always becoming. As it’s shared, I add more fruit, more plants, a little organic sugar. It has been fermenting without pause since 2024.
 
This wine is kept for visitors and guests.

I serve it in cups like this one, unstrained, ingredients still drifting in the liquid. Rough, alive, and deeply satisfying.
 
The cup is made from clay mixed with Mojave desert soil, shaped loosely on the wheel and refined with stone tools.
 
The glaze comes from pine and oak ashes and white desert “chalk” gathered near Valyermo, California. Fully waterproof and tested for leaks.
 
Fired in my electric kiln at cone 6
(2200°F / 1204°C)

Priority mail takes two to five days to deliver in the US. International orders may take much longer to arrive.
