Wilder Kimchi Bowl

Another one of my favorites! This somewhat large bowl is crafted from clay and rock pebbles collected near St. Andrew's Abbey in Valyermo, giving it a rough, textured surface that reflects its desert origins. The rugged, uneven exterior with embedded rock fragments captures the raw beauty of the landscape. It's perfect for serving your favorite ferments, cereals, or side dishes.
 
Leak-tested. The textured surface requires extra care when hand-cleaning.

Glaze made with pine/oak ashes.

Fired at Cone 6 - 2200°F (1200°C) in my electric kiln.
